Wow!

Busy day. I was looking for symbols on the 12 disciples and got drawn into Wordpress, themes, widgets, blogs, LibraryThing.com and all sorts of interesting things. Busy day.

I found this interesting site regarding the symbols of the 12 disciples, but this one was laid out even better and was more concise.

Funny how things come of early morning dreams... I had it in my head about the symbolism of the twelve tribes of Israel - a sort of coat of arms type deal - and whether the twelve apostles had similar symbols. Like if Peter were a fisherman and had a fish symbol and say Zebulun's symbol was a ship or Reuben's symbol was a man and water...

Sometimes it's just fun to speculate.
